- Die Art schien bisher auf Baden-Württemberg und Bayern beschränkt, inzwischen gelangen Nachweise durch Bioakustik und Fang in Dresden (Sachsen), weitere Vorkommen in diesem Bundesland werden vermutet (Schubert et al. 2019). Auch aus Schleswig-Holstein liegen Rufaufnahmen der Weißrandfledermaus vor (Siemers et al. 2019).
