- Taxon aus der Ustilago striiformis-Gruppe; der bisher zu U. striiformis gerechnete Befall auf Deschampsia cespitosa bildet nach Kruse et al. (2018) eine eigenständige Art; wie es sich mit Nachweisen auf Deschampsia flexuosa verhält, wurde bisher nicht geklärt. Entsprechende Funde können bis auf Weiteres nur der Ustilago striiformis-Gruppe zugeordnet werden.
