- Diadesmis contenta var. biceps gehört nur noch nomenklatorisch, nicht taxonomisch zur Gattung Diadesmis. Aus unbekannten Gründen wurde das Taxon von Lowe et al. (2014) bei der Überführung in die Gattung Humidophila nicht berücksichtigt.
