- Klenke & Scholler (2015) weisen neben einem Fund in Görlitz an Petunia hybrida auf eine weitere Podosphaera-Aufsammlung auf diesem Wirt hin (2011, leg. A. Schmidt, pers. Mitt.), die beide möglicherweise zu P. solanacearum zu stellen sind. Weitere Analysen sind notwendig.
