- Der meist als Unterart von Geophilus truncorum geführte G. ribauti wurde kürzlich aufgrund von morphologischen und ökogeographischen Unterschieden in den Artstatus erhoben (Bonato & Minelli 2014). Die deutschen Nachweise können diesen zwei Arten sicher zugeordnet werden
