- Eine variable, disjunkt verbreitete Art, zu welcher auch die als Leptoiulus braueri (Verhoeff, 1895) und L. weberi Verhoeff, 1927 beschriebenen Tiere zu stellen sind.
- Further comments
- Bisher sind nur zwei Fundorte in Deutschland bekannt, und zwar im Bayerischen Wald und im Kaiserstuhl. Der nächstgelegene Fundort liegt in der Schweiz, südlich von Basel (Pedroli-Christen 1993). Das Hauptverbreitungsareal umfasst Südost-Frankreich, Österreich, die Schweiz und Italien.
