- Taxon aus der Golovinomyces orontii-Gruppe (vgl. Braun et al. 2019); es wird enger gefasst als in Klenke & Scholler (2015), vgl. auch Synonymliste.
- Further comments
- Golovinomyces orontii ist ein ubiquitärer Pilz. Die Zuordnung der Wirte und damit der aus Deutschland vorliegenden Funde – zu den Fundangaben auf den drei Brassicaceae vgl. auch Auflistung unter Erysiphe cichoracearum in Braun (1980) – folgt weitgehend den Angaben in Braun et al. (2019), die erste Arbeiten zur Untergliederung der G. orontii-Gruppe vornahmen. Die Eingruppierung der Chrysanthemum morifolium-Kultursippen erfolgt nach Bradshaw et al. (2017). Wahrscheinlich gehören zahlreiche der unter der G. orontii-Gruppe aufgeführten Wirte ebenfalls hierher.
