- Von dieser Anamorphe existiert keine gesicherte Teleomorphe. Paul & Poelt (1950) vermuten einen Wirtswechsel zu Süßgräsern. Das Taxon gehört möglicherweise zu Puccinia isiacae (Klenke & Scholler 2015).
- Further comments
- Der bisher einzige Nachweis in Deutschland erfolgte 1948 in Kerschlach in Bayern (Paul & Poelt 1950). Der Pilz wurde vorher vermutlich übersehen und wird als indigen eingestuft.
