- Bei der in der Roten Liste von 1996 als Eunotia septentrionalis Østrup geführten Art handelt es sich um Nachweise von Eunotia ursamaioris Lange-Bert. & Noerpel. E. septentrionalis im strikten Sinne von Østrup, wurde in Deutschland bisher nicht beobachtet.
