- Die Datenlage erlaubt nicht, die Art als „verschollen“ einzustufen, obwohl nur ein Fund von Heering (1906) aus Warnemünde (Hauck und Richter, Phykotheca n. 282) vorliegt und charakteristische Standorte, marine Schlammflächen, in genügender Menge vorhanden sind.

- Die Art bevorzugt submerse Schlammflächen des Sublitorals, einen Standorttyp, der im Rahmen dieser Erhebung nicht untersucht werden konnte.
