- Nach Vánky (2012) ist der als Urocystis radicicola H. Scholz & I. Scholz beschriebene Befall an Ranunculus arvensis identisch mit dem aus Afghanistan als Urocystis rechingeri beschriebenen Befall an Ranunculus komarovii Freyn.
- Comment on responsibility
- Der Pilz ist aus Europa nur von der Urocystis radicicola-Typusaufsammlung aus dem Jahr 1893 bekannt (Ohrdruf, Thüringen, Scholz & Scholz 1988) und sonst weltweit nur aus Afghanistan angegeben. Es ist evtl. eine erhöhte Verantwortlichkeit Deutschlands zu vermuten.
