- Die Varietät Suphrodytes dorsalis var. figuratus Gyllenhal, 1826 wurde abgespalten und ist nunmehr als eigenständige Art S. figuratus (Gyllenhal, 1826) zu sehen. Damit muss das vorhandene Belegmaterial von S. dorsalis Fabricius, 1787 hinsichtlich der vorzunehmenden Auftrennung überprüft werden. Bis dahin ist die Datenlage als defizitär anzusehen.
