- Die häufige Coniopteryx pygmaea wird bei Aspöck et al. (1980) unter Coniopteryx parthenia Navás & Marcet, 1910 aufgeführt und wurde wohl oft fehlbestimmt. COI-Barcodes lassen vermuten, dass es sich um eine Artengruppe handelt, die morphologisch bisher nicht aufgelöst werden kann (Morinière et al. 2014).
