- Zu den von Liu et al. (2021) sequenzanalytisch untersuchten Blumeria graminicola-Befällen gehören auch Belege von folgenden Wirten aus Deutschland: Alopecurus geniculatus, Apera spica-venti, Festuca gigantea, Holcus lanatus, Milium effusum, Poa nemoralis und P. trivialis. Sie werden – mit Ausnahme von Holcus lanatus, für das nur ein genetischer Marker eine derartige Zuordnung auswies – im Kontext der Gesamtergebnisse der Studie als Matrices von B. graminicola für Deutschland eingeschätzt. Bei der Apera spica-venti-Probe zeigten immerhin drei Marker eine derartige Zuordnung an. Die anderen aufgeführten Wirte werden entsprechend den Erhebungen von Liu et al. (2021) provisorisch zugeordnet.
