- In Jage (2020) wurde dieser Pilz als neue Art ausgewiesen, aber nicht formal beschrieben. Er weicht durch größere Sporen von Entyloma corydalis ab.

- Für die Erhaltung von Corydalis pumila besteht eine Verantwortlichkeit Deutschlands in hohem Maße. Dies würde gleichermaßen für den Pilz gelten, sofern die vermutete Wirtsspezifität des Pilzes verifiziert werden kann.
