- Die Art kommt in Großbritannien, Belgien und Dänemark häufig in ländlichen Gebieten in Totholz oder unter Borke vor. Im restlichen Verbreitungsgebiet in Europa, wie bspw. in Deutschland, ist C. parisiorum ausschließlich in Gärten, Parks, Berghalden oder Gewächshäusern anzutreffen (Kime & Enghoff 2017). C. parisiorum wurde in der vorherigen Roten Liste (Reip et al. 2016) noch als indigene Art angegeben, wird aber aufgrund der in Deutschland rein synanthropen Vorkommen in der vorliegenden Roten Liste nun als Neozoon geführt.
