- Die ursprünglich mediterran und heute kosmopolitisch verbreitete, synanthrop lebende Kubanische Assel (Abb.: siehe Publikation für Abbildungsnummer) gehört zu den etablierten Neozoen. Diese wärmeliebende Art kommt in Siedlungsgebieten vor und wird von dort aus gelegentlich in das Freiland verschleppt.
