- Pyrausta rectefascialis Toll, 1936 wird von Leraut (2008) als Synonym angesehen, was der Überprüfung bedarf. Nach Buzko (mdl. Mitt.) sollen die Larven von Pyrausta cingulata an Thymus, die von Pyrausta rectefascialis an Salvia leben.

- Die bekannten Vorkommen liegen im Offenland. Die Habitate sind durch Sukzession und Stickstoffimmission gefährdet.
