- Der von Harz (1980) nach verstreutem Bodenfallenmaterial (1976-79) aus Nordtirol beschriebene Bergwaldohrwurm ist erstmals 2000 in Berchtesgaden auch für Deutschland nachgewiesen worden (Matzke 2000). Diese flugunfähige Art ist neuerdings aus Malaisefallen an weiteren fünf Fundorten in alpinen Hochlagen zwischen Garmisch und dem Nationalpark Berchtesgaden belegt, nicht aber aus dem übrigen bayerischen Alpenbereich (Heusinger 2003).
