- Der einzige Nachweis einer Entyloma-Art an Zinnia elegans* stammt aus dem Jahr 2008 und ist hinsichtlich der Identität mit E. zinniae aufgrund von abweichenden Sporengrößen zu den Angaben bei Scholz & Scholz (1988) zweifelhaft (Jage 2020). Die in Scholz & Scholz (1988) und Jage (2020) erwähnte Angabe aus Baden-Württemberg aus dem Jahr 1950 wurde von Scholler & Müller (2008) als Fehlbestimmung ausgewiesen. Es handelte sich um Calendula officinalis mit Entyloma calendulae.
