- Zu den Fehlangaben des Pilzes auf Amelanchier laevis und A. lamarckii vgl. Kruse et al. (2020) und Kummer (2020). Cotoneaster spp., Crataegus nigra, Malus pumila, M. sylvestris, Mespilus germanica, Prunus avium und P. cerasus bzw. Sorbus aucuparia, S. intermedia und S. torminalis sind in Deutschland bisher nicht zweifelsfrei als Wirte von Phyllactinia mali nachgewiesen (vgl. Kummer 2020 und Kummer 2021).
