- Der Erstnachweis in Deutschland erfolgte 2014 (Kruse et al. 2016). Jedoch könnte die Art am seit der späten Bronzezeit kultivierten Wirt (Körber-Grohne 1995) schon viel früher vorgekommen sein. Es handelt sich vermutlich um einen Archäomyzet, der früher nicht registriert wurde.
