- Kommt in Mitteleuropa an Gewässern des Flachlandes vor. Die Nahrungspflanzen der Larven sind unbekannt. Die Art war in Bayern nur aus der Umgebung von Regensburg bekannt (Pröse, H., persönliche Mitteilung). Aus Hamburg 1909 gemeldet, aber keine Belege bekannt.
