- Taxon aus dem Melampsora salicina agg.; Braun (1982) führt weitere Salix-Arten als Wirte von Melampsora arctica auf, die ebenfalls hierher gehören könnten, z.B. S. acutifolia und S. stipularis. Diese Wirte wurden als fraglich weggelassen.
