- Als C. alpina etikettierte ältere Aufsammlungen können zu C. pseudalpina oder zu C. sinuatocolumellata gehören. Zu verwechseln mit C. suksdorfii Ellis & Everh. Diese in Deutschland bisher nicht nachgewiesene Art hat jedoch einen längeren Stiel und mit einem Durchmesser von 9-10 μm deutlich kleinere Sporen (Moreno et al. 2004). Mikroskopische Merkmale ähnlich C. filamentosa, Habitus jedoch deutlich abweichend (Kuhnt 2010).
