- Die beschriebenen Kleinarten lassen sich bisher nicht sicher differenzieren. Die Wirtswechselverhältnisse sind offenbar noch nicht sehr gefestigt (vgl. Poelt & Zwetko 1997).

- Bei einer Unterscheidung von Kleinarten und einer besseren Datenlage müssten diese z.T. als gefährdet eingestuft werden (z.B. Puccinia orchidearum-phalaridis Kleb. auf Orchidaceae).

- Eine Angabe auf Streptopus sp. (Hepp in Bayerische Botanische Gesellschaft 1950) erscheint zweifelhaft und wurde hier nicht berücksichtigt.
