- Der Pilz wurde in Deutschland 1987 an einem Fundort in Baden-Württemberg nachgewiesen und dort zuletzt 1995 gesammelt (vgl. Smith & Lutz 2014). Die Art wird vermutlich nicht ausreichend beachtet, da ihr Befallsbild sehr unauffällig ist. Sie wird als indigen eingestuft.
