- In Deutschland nur noch von zwei Trockenhängen in Bayern bekannt. Die Nachsuche in vergleichbaren Habitaten erbrachte keine weiteren Nachweise. Die Gründe für den Rückgang sind nicht bekannt.

- Die Larven leben in Gespinströhren in Zweiggabelungen oder zwischen den Blattstielen von Rhamnus cathartica (Schütze 1931, Gaedike & Petersen 1985).
