- Angaben zu Podosphaera plantaginis auf Plantago major sind zweifelhaft (u.a. Staritz 1913, Dörfelt 1984, Scholler 1996, Gerischer & Dörfelt 2015). Die Angabe auf P. maritima aus Rabenhorst Fungi eur. 1916 gehört zu Golovinomyces sordidus (rev. U. Braun, vgl. Kummer 2021).
