- In Klenke & Scholler (2015) sind Articomyces warmingii und Exobasidium schinzianum synonym gesetzt. Wir folgen dieser Synonymisierung nicht, vgl. Kruse et al. (2021).
- Further comments
- Erst 2014 wurde diese Art in den Chiemgauer Alpen neu für Deutschland nachgewiesen. Aus dem angrenzenden Österreich und der Schweiz gibt es historische Nachweise (Jaap 1908, Jaap 1909). Die indigene Wirtsart ist in Deutschland ungefährdet. Der Pilz wurde vorher vermutlich übersehen und wird als indigen eingestuft.
