- Der Pilz ist weltweit sehr selten (Vánky 2012). Außer in Deutschland ist er bisher nur in Italien nachgewiesen (Scholz & Scholz 1988, Vánky 1994). Evtl. ist eine erhöhte Verantwortlichkeit Deutschlands für die Erhaltung der Art vorhanden.
