- Die Pilz-Wirt-Kombination an Ibicella lutea* wurde nur einmal in Deutschland nachgewiesen (vgl. Ale-Agha et al. 2008). Von Shin et al. (2019) wurde Erysiphe pedaliacearum (H.D. Shin) H.D. Shin [Syn.: Oidium pedaliacearum H.D. Shin, Pseudoidium pedaliacearum (H.D. Shin) H.D. Shin] aufgrund umfangreicher molekularphylogenetischer Untersuchungen neu kombiniert. Hierbei wurde die von Ale-Agha et al. (2008) unter O. pedaliacearum publizierte Aufsammlung aus dem Botanischen Garten Essen – da molekulargenetisch bisher nicht untersucht (U. Braun, pers. Mitt.) – unter den unbestätigten („unconfirmed“) Proben aufgelistet.
