- Die Zuordnung der Peronospora-Befälle an Astragalus cicer zu P. astragalina folgt Jage et al. (2017) in Anlehnung an Doppelbaur et al. (1965) und Voglmayr (2003). Klenke & Scholler (2015) stellen sie zu Peronospora phacae Gäum.

- Die 1965 erstmals in Deutschland nachgewiesene Sippe wurde vorher vermutlich übersehen und wird als indigen eingestuft.
