- Die Wirtsart ist vom Aussterben bedroht (RL-Kat. 1). Da der Pilz an den Wurzeln von äußerlich gesund erscheinenden Pflanzen vorkommt und nur durch Ausgraben nachgewiesen werden kann, sollte auf eine Nachsuche verzichtet werden, um die Bestände der Wirtsart nicht weiter zu beeinträchtigen.
