- Ältere Meldungen der Art sind kritisch zu sehen. Die Art ist vermutlich durch Verwechslung mit Chrysopa commata überrepräsentiert, da entscheidende Bestimmungsmerkmale erst durch Barnard (1990) revidiert wurden (vgl. Tröger 2003).
