- Potentieller Klimagewinner. Die wärmeliebende Art profitierte zusätzlich von Extensivierungs- und Stilllegungsprogrammen. Diese wurden z.T. eingestellt. Da der Eiüberwinterer die Gelege in den Stengeln von Centaurea-Arten platziert, werden diese bei kompletter Mahd bzw. Beweidung vernichtet.
