- Die Nominatform tritt nur in einem Teilgebiet der Iberischen Halbinsel auf, im restlichen Verbreitungsgebiet lebt N. anomalus milleri (vgl. Igea et al. 2015). Von einigen Autoren (z. B. Querejeta & Castresana 2018) werden die beiden Formen auch als distinkte Arten angesehen.
