- Die Art wurde in Deutschland v.a. in Gartenbaubetrieben registriert, zuerst im Jahr 1913. Es könnte sich um einen Archäomyzet handeln, da Sommer-Bohnenkraut in Deutschland mindestens seit dem 9. Jh. kultiviert wird (Jäger et al. 2008).
