- Diese Art kommt in Irland, England und in Nordwestfrankreich vor (Kime & Enghoff 2021). B. melanops wurde in Deutschland bislang nur in einzelnen Exemplaren in einem Weinberg in der Nähe von Stuttgart-Steinhaldenfeld gefunden (Reip et al. 2012).
