- Der bisher einzige Nachweis stammt aus Hessen (Werra-Meißner-Kreis) (Scholz & Scholz 1988). Am früheren Fundort ist der Wirt nahezu verschwunden und der Pilz nicht mehr vorhanden.

- Der nur einmal 1966 in Deutschland nachgewiesene Pilz wurde vorher vermutlich übersehen und wird als indigen eingestuft.
