- Cosmarium tetrachondrum f. Grönblad 1921 wurde mit Beschreibung und Bild, aber ohne infraspezifischen Namen und damit nicht gültig publiziert. Gutowski & Mollenhauer (1996) verwendeten dafür den Namen „Cosmarium tetrachondrum forma P. Lundell 1871 nom. prov.“.
