- Die Arten der Untergattung Poliopterus der Gattung Plagiognathus wurden in die Gattung Europiella gestellt (Schuh et al. 1995). In Hoffmann & Melber (2003) Verwechslungen mit Europiella artemisiae wegen Neuzuordnung des Artnamens.
