- Comment on taxonomy
- Die taxonomische Umgrenzung dieser Artengruppe ist unzureichend geklärt. Viele ältere Angaben schließen L. carestiae sensu Meyl. mit ein. Dieses Taxon wird neuerdings als L. zonatum Mar. Mey. & Poulain abgetrennt (Poulain et al. 2011: 509). Nicht mit Meriderma carestiae (Ces. & de Not.) Mar. Mey. & Poulain zu verwechseln, da die Enden des Capillitiums nicht trichterförmig erweitert sind. Sehr ähnlich ist außerdem L. cucumer (Meyl.) Nowotny & H. Neubert (vgl. Anhang 2).
