- Der extrem selten nachgewiesene Peronospora-Befall an Galium glaucum wird von Jage et al. (2017) keiner der übrigen Peronospora-Arten an Galium-Arten zugeordnet. Möglicherweise handelt es sich um eine eigenständige indigene Sippe, die vor dem Erstnachweis im Jahr 1996 übersehen wurde. Sie unterliegt durch die Bindung an den rückläufigen Wirt einem Lebensraumverlust.
