- Spelda (2005) vertritt die Ansicht, dass sich die Funde von Strigamia transsilvanica in Süddeutschland auf aberrante Exemplare von S. crassipes (C. L. Koch, 1835) beziehen und die Art somit für Süddeutschland zu streichen sei.
- Further comments
- Die montane S. transsilvanica dringt aus Osteuropa nach Deutschland bis Sachsen und Thüringen vor. Ein zweifelhafter Fund stammt aus dem Staatsforst Burgholz/Solingen (Bronewski 1991).
