- Taxon aus dem Melampsora salicina agg.; seine Aecien gehören zum Caeoma allii-ursini agg. Der Pilz ist durch seinen spezifischen Wirtswechsel gekennzeichnet. Angaben von mikroskopisch bestimmten Belegen wurden z.T. unzureichend von ähnlichen Arten unterschieden. Das Taxon ist bestimmungskritisch.
