- Nach Singer et al. (2005) ist der bislang für dieses Taxon verwendete Name Comatricha alpina Kowalski ein Synonym von Symphytocarpus confluens (Cooke & Ellis) Ing & Nann.-Bremek., einer nicht nivicolen Art. Als C. alpina etikettierte ältere Aufsammlungen können zu C. pseudalpina oder zu C. sinuatocolumellata gehören.
