- Taxon aus der Puccinia poae-nemoralis-Gruppe; das Taxon stimmt nicht überein mit Uredo coleanthi Har. (vgl. Klenke & Scholler 2015).
- Comment on responsibility
- Für die Erhaltung von Coleanthus subtilis besteht eine Verantwortlichkeit Deutschlands in besonders hohem Maße. Dies gilt gleichermaßen für den spezifisch an diesen Wirt gebundenen Pilz.
- Comment on threat
- Der Pilz kommt in Deutschland nur in zwei Teichgebieten in Sachsen auf seiner kurzlebigen Wirtspflanze vor und ist seltener und mindestens so stark gefährdet wie diese. Der Wirt steht nach EU-Recht als FFH-Anhang-II-Art unter besonderem Schutz. Seine Bestände konnten sich durch Naturschutzmaßnahmen stabilisieren und so der langfristige Rückgang gestoppt werden (Metzing et al. 2018). Inwieweit letzteres auch für den Pilz zutrifft, ist unbekannt.
