- Die P. depressa sehr ähnliche P. quadrata ist nach Kulturversuchen als eigene Art aufzufassen (Keller & Eliasson 1992), obwohl eine ökologische Differenzierung beider Sippen nicht erkennbar ist. Von P. quadrata ist nur ein sicherer Nachweis aus Deutschland (Krieglsteiner 1993: 117) bekannt; nach Neubert et al. (1993: 210) aber auch Angaben aus Schleswig-Holstein (Jaap).
