- Aus Deutschland liegen nur zwei Funde an Daphne mezereum (1997, 2000) vor. Im Gegensatz zu Klenke & Scholler (2015) führen Braun & Cook (2012) die Art unter den zweifelhaften Sippen mit großer morphologischer Übereinstimmung mit Erysiphe alphitoides auf. Sequenzanalytische Untersuchungen stehen noch aus. Bis dahin wird die Sippe als zweifelhaft geführt.
